I’m a mom to five lively little ones ranging from whirlwind toddlers to opinionated pre-teens living under the warm sun of Singapore. My days are filled with a whole lot of love, a little chaos, and an endless stream of “What’s for dinner?”.
I’m not a chef by any stretch, just a home cook trying to keep everyone fed, happy, and occasionally impressed. Between picky eaters, mismatched cravings, and a fridge that always seems one ingredient short, mealtime can feel like a daily puzzle.
For the longest time, my recipes lived everywhere! In handwritten notebooks, crumpled scraps of paper, random phone notes, and even saved Instagram posts. I could never find the recipes I was looking for quickly. Eventually, I decided it was time to bring some order to the madness, and that’s how this website was born. Think of it as my digital recipe notebook. Designed to make planning and preparing meals more easier and cooking more fun!
Living in Singapore, I’m lucky to be surrounded by a beautiful blend of cultures, and that shines through in my cooking. Some recipes are passed down, some are local favourites, some are traditional from different parts of the world, some are trending, and others come with a little twist or fusion flair. But all of them are made to be shared and enjoyed.
Whether you’re here for quick weeknight dinners, comfort food classics, or a bit of inspiration, I hope you find something that makes your time in the kitchen a little easier and maybe even a little more fun.
And hey, if you’ve got a recipe your family loves, I’d love to try it too. Drop me a note anytime at hello@recipeaffairs.com. Let’s swap favorites!
With love, Sha.
Hello! I’m Sha. A proud mama to five kiddos who keep our days loud, joyful, and beautifully chaotic under the sunny skies of Singapore. When I’m not chasing little feet or negotiating with mini food critics, you’ll find me sipping coffee, whipping up family-friendly recipes, organizing our home (as much as they'll let me!), and soaking in every bit of family time I can.
